Tradução e validação da Escala de Autoimagem Genital Feminina para a População Portuguesa: Estudo psicométrico

Objetivo: O presente estudo tem como objetivo a tradução, adaptação e análise das propriedades psicométricas da Escala de Autoimagem Genital Feminina (EAG-F) numa amostra de mulheres portuguesas com uma idade superior a 18 anos. Métodos: Participaram no presente estudo quantitativo e exploratório, 157 mulheres com uma idade média de 27,71 anos (DP = 9,91). As participantes responderam a um questionário sociodemográfico, questões relacionadas com os esquemas da aparência e autoimagem genital. Resultados: A EAG-F apresentou um moderado índice de consistência interna (a = 0,76). A análise fatorial confirmatória (AFC), apresentou um bom ajustamento após a reespecificação do modelo (X2/df = 2,405; GFI = 0,94; CFI = 0,95; TLI = 0,90; RMSEA = 0,09; p [rmsea ≤ 0,05] = 0,048). Conclusão: A EAG-G numa amostra de mulheres portuguesas, apresenta-se psicometricamente robusta na avaliação da autoimagem genital.
